A Nebulizer act as a tool that can be used to better treat URI’s, sinus infections and even pneumonia by getting the medicine inhaled properly up to the lungs. A Nebulizer is a device that turns liquid asthma medicine into a fine mist (aerosols) of a size that can be inhaled into the lower respiratory tract. Nebulizers are used to provide aerosol therapy to patients who are too ill or are too young to use hand-held devices and also are used in situations where large drug doses are necessary. Nebulizers are also useful for the medications which are available only in liquid form. Nebulizers are also expanding the airways and creating free breathing along with the administration of medicine to lungs.
Nebulizer breathing treatments are used for men, women and children patients who need medication specially applied deep into the airways and lungs. Doctors may prescribe nebulizers for respiratory conditions or use them to give asthma treatments during surgery or recovery.
